Following a highly successful launch event on 18–19 June, Aspermont UK and Advantix are delighted

to announce that next year’s Russian & CIS Mining Symposium will take place on 27 April 2010 in London.

The 2nd Russian Symposium will focus on the mining challenges and investment opportunities in Russia, Central Asia and the Ukraine highlighting the latest developments affecting foreign participation in Russian mining enterprises and what should foreign investors be prepared for when entering the CIS mining market.

This comes at the time when Russia’s Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, Yuri Trutnev, has confirmed that the government intends to liberalise land-use legislation.

The 2009 event attracted over 150 participants plus 10 exhibitors, 5 sponsors, 36 speakers and

4 media / information partners.
